Where do I start?! I asked family for a recommendation and he couldn’t have hit the mark any better. Vicki Duran was responsive and on point from the first inquiry. I am one of those who likes to be conscientious of most things. So I reached out to her months before we were scheduled to fly in. She kept in touch during the waiting period and was ready to hit the “road” when we got into town. She had preowned and new builds ready, but in the climate of timing when we wanted to see homes… preowned were dropping and being picked up before you had a chance to view. So we went after new builds, she tirelessly called sales offices and showed us different communities. Vicki was taking notes somewhere because after the first community shown she knew what we wanted and didn’t want and didn’t waste time with the nots. We headed back “home” and two days later we were sending our earnest money to her. She did all the leg work for us. Every in person and zoom meeting she was there. She did the walk through with us and helped pick out areas that needed to be fixed. Vicki just knows the job, what we as new buyers should look for and what is expected of our new home. She is amazing. She was there from start to keys. I’m so grateful for all the time she spent on us. My hubby does NOT like change and she was good with him, gave him the space he needed while giving me the attention I needed. She can definitely read a room and is not afraid to speak up and advocate for her clients.
I have lived in Austin most of my life, and finally scraped together the pennies to purchase my first home. Being very frugal with my money, I spoke with a handful of real estate agents, many who were noticeably eager to "earn my business." Joe Gage stood out from the crowd with his calm demeanor and absolute priority on understanding my goals. My second concern once moving forward, was having a either a "salesman realtor", one who is more interested in making the sale or alternatively the "lethargic realtor", one that doesn't follow through after you take the initial steps with them. These are the things you can only learn about your realtor as you spend time searching for a home and visiting them. I can say without a doubt, Joe was neither of these things. Joe helped bring my dreams into a reality. He was with me every step of the way, and made sure that we were looking at properties that matched my long list of criteria. If you are looking for a home in the Austin Area, give Joe Gage a ring and at least consider him along with the other agents you have talked to. If nothing else, talk to him so you can set a good benchmark for the "gold standard" in real estate purchasing. But I will say that I would be surprised if you can find a better agent that has his level of experience and expertise in the Austin market.
Linda Baddour of Bramlett Residential is the best realtor we have worked with! Linda is super helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to help in any way she can to get us to the closing point. As investors, it was essential for us to have someone we could trust and help us navigate through the process. Because we do not live in the area, Linda did the walk-ins, took photos, videos, talked to the builder, and kept us posted up until the close of our home. Even after we closed, she helped us find a property management company and get some measurements we needed from the house. Her service goes beyond buying and selling. Linda kept us informed about pricing, important news about the area, and statistics she shared monthly through email that helped us understand the market we were investing. Thank you, Linda! Vicki helped us buy two houses in 2021. She is the most knowledgeable , patient and respectful real estate agent we’ve ever had. She took what is usually a stressful process and turned it into a good / great experience! We found ourselves laughing and enjoying the search. She has a very easy personality and will go to every length to get you the answers you need to make your best decision. We will never have another agent. We love her!!
We had the pleasure of working with Vicki Duran - representing Bramlett Residential. Vicki was referred by a friend who she also helped about 2y ago. We reached out to Vicki and set up some time for a virtual call (we weren't living in Austin at the time). During the call, she walked us through the entire process: what to expect, market & financial expectations, and how long the process would take, also recommended local lending agencies we should reach out to, to speed up the offer & closing process. We came to Austin for 10 days and Vicki booked those days just for us. We provided the houses we were interested in and she set up the viewings. At each location, she provided us with copies of the full background, details, and necessary specifications of the house. She was always responsive to phone calls, text messages, and emails between us which made this process much easier. We finally landed on a house we loved and she was instrumental during the offer & negotiation phase, getting us the best deal possible. My husband and I were a little concerned when we decided to buy a house, we have never done this before and mostly everyone finds it a very stressful process, but we were very lucky to have Vicki helping us through out this whole time. Vicki works for Bramlett Residential and was referred to us by a friend that she also helped a few years back. We were not living in Austin so we set up a call with Vicki where she explained us the whole process and referred us some local lending agencies we could reach out to in advance to make sure the process would go smoothly. I liked Vicki on the first call, she is very professional, has a good vibe and a genuine interest in helping people. We came to Austin for only a week and half to see some houses and Vicki made this whole process so easy and smooth for us. Vicki not only booked the viewings for all the places we wanted to see in a good order of location for us, she also provided a full background, details and specifications of each house. She was always responsive and well informed to keep us updated. We landed an offer on our favorite house and this would not have been possible without Vicki to help us with the offer and negotiations. Vicki Duran is an amazing realtor! This is our second time using Vicki. She helped us buy our first house in 2017 and was fantastic throughout that process. She made sure to keep the builder on target to complete as promised and made sure that whole process was painless and easy. We ended up choosing a different realtor to sell that house in 2020 and honestly regretted it. I wish we had used Vicki at that time. When we decided to move back to Austin I reached out to Vicki and she was again, amazing. Because of our busy life and my crazy work schedule, we weren't able to actually go into Austin to find our house. We also ended up seeing the perfect house on the market a few months before we had decided to seriously start looking. In 24 hours, Vicki discussed the pros and cons of buying a house earlier than planned, set up a tour, and the toured the house for us. She then went again with my sister to make sure it was what we wanted. We had a much more complicated process with this house- a lease back, difficulty with lenders, buying without ever setting foot in the house- and Vicki made it simple. I would definitely recommend her to anyone (and already have!)

I worked with Vicki Duran to buy a house in Austin. I was hoping to close on a house on a short timeline and she provided me with honest guidance throughout the whole process. Vicki Duran is a ROCKSTAR and an angel ~ a very gifted agent! I really challenged her too... I was purchasing my first home and relocating to Austin from Japan. Not only did I not know the city landscape, I was really unfamiliar with real estate terms and the entire process plus I'd never had a loan in my life. This was a milestone and unchartered territory for me. Due to a heavy travel schedule, I needed to see as many properties as possible in just two days. I briefed Vicki on my lifestyle preferences and she recommended two areas of town, then sent me listings over a two week period which we shortlisted to 31 for viewing. I thought that would be totally impossible...and I think she did too but we were up for it! Having moved 55 times, I'm lucky to know what I want and could reject places in minutes of entering the properties. We just kept going until my DREAM HOME appeared. It did on day two!!! Vicki guided me in the negotiations, helped me understand the lending process when I just didn't know what I was doing, and followed up with the process so I wouldn't miss anything. Me and my wife's interactions and process with Vicki Duran went quite smoothly. This was our first time investing in a property. Vicki was extremely helpful in helping us understand the process and what all we needed to do to prepare for the closing. I guess this is probably part of her job, but it meant a lot to us. She promptly provided responses to all our questions, as she understood that this was all new for us. She welcomed us to reach out to her with any questions or concerns we may have. My husband wanted to move to Austin to have more job opportunities. We lived in oregon and I had to find a realtor in the Austin area to help us. Vicki Duran was one of the best agents I have ever worked with. She spent all day with me showing me the area, stores, and I believe we looked at over 12 houses in one day. We then took my husband by the top 3 houses. It was a late night. She helped me make an offer on a house the following day. She helped us through the walk-through for the punch list. We had to return back to Oregon to finish packing and move. Vicki did our final walk through for us and was also available to let the pest control company in for the initial spray. She then dropped off the keys to our new home at our hotel so we would have them when we got here. In my opinion, Vicki went above and beyond her realtor duties. I really like her and highly recommend her.

I have never seen the dedication, response, knowledge, and support that we found with Vicki. When you work with a real estate agent, first of all, you need them to work for you. Vicki was there to provide advice, assistance, and help literally 24/7. You need an agent with knowledge of the Austin market. Vicki again has visibility and knowledge of everything in the market. You need an agent to be available when you call or when you ask them to go visit and see a house. Vicki was available always to help and assist.
