I had a rather non-traditional home purchase experience, living multiple states away from where I wanted to purchase a home. I was initially a bit skeptical of an agent being able to provide a great experience virtually for me, but after talking with Becky Welch, I was confident in her ability to facilitate my unique situation. She provided virtual tours and reached out to the seller on my behalf if I had questions regarding the videos shot. She was extremely patient with me and my specific price point I was willing to pay - even if it didn't quite match market conditions. Throughout the months we worked together, she was easy to get ahold of and communicated frequently about the market, and when it came time to finally put an offer, walked me through the entire process so I understood every major beat we would encounter. Finally, as I was unable to attend the final walk-through inspection - she provided a very thorough video of the property, complete with issues that she found which may have deviated from when the original offer was made. As a whole, I couldn't have been happier with Becky and expect to work with her again in the future!
Jeremy Vandermause was our realtor when we sold our Austin home in August 2022, and we could not have been happier with the entire process. This was the first time we had sold a home, and Jeremy and his team held our hand through each step. We felt totally at ease that no balls were being dropped. Since we had already purchased another home and moved out of state, this was a huge relief. Joe Gage and the Bramlett team helped us get our house ready to sell while we were traveling abroad and the house was leased. No small feat working and coordinating with our tenant/property manager and various service providers to install a new roof, paint exterior of the house, and make sundry repairs. The height of the Austin market in 2021 was obviously a great time for sellers. My positive experience with Abby goes beyond the way above asking price she secured for us. We had been putting off selling our first home because getting it market ready seemed like something we didn't have time for, and honestly I didn't know where to start. We no longer lived there and the renters had left their mark. Abby came in and quickly assessed what repairs would give us the largest return on our investment and then secured reputable, reliable people to handle those repairs. She managed the process without incident and the next thing we knew she was presenting us with 5 vetted, above asking price offers. I bought my first home on the East side of Austin while working with Zoe Wafelbakker a few months ago, and I had an excellent, seamless experience. Zoe was always available to answer questions (and I had many) and her Austin real estate expertise and interpersonal skills are top-notch. She handled the few minor issues and hurdles we faced with ease and grace which meant the buying process was fairly stress-free for me, and we never had to deal with full-on problems.

When moving to Austin, my fiancé and I wanted to buy a house and found the Jen Berbas team. After some consideration, we decided not to buy right away. Brooke provided incredibly helpful insights with the upmost professionalism. I am incentivized to use a realtor for the company I work for, but I was going to buy a year ago and got a mediocre service. After talking to Brooke, I knew her knowledge and professionalism are far more valuable than the benefits I’d get if I had worked with someone else who isn’t as good as her. She provided guidance but never pressured to buy or even pushed for a house in particular. Homes in certain areas another realtor a year ago called “sketchy” with a look of disgust in her face without backing up her opinion with facts (not knowing if maybe I come from a similar place, or that’s what I can afford so her comment could make me feel uncomfortable). Brooke, on the other hand, gave insights on price comps in that same area, quality of the construction and appliances, the soil situation, etc., so we decided not to buy in that area, but she did that in such a professional and impartial way that is quite impressive. Brooke helped us negotiate with the seller and we ended up getting a home we love.
