Ruth was great, and if I had to go through this again, I'd want her, who knows the ropes, to take care of buying and selling. For selling, it was stressful, especially at a time when the Pandemic level was quite high. We got
through it, though. For buying, since it was new construction, we would keep in touch off and on during the whole
build process. There was a hiccup at the end as the builder wanted to adjust the purchase agreement, but we managed to come through. She listened to me vent out in frustration, but it worked out in the end. I would definitely recommend her if friends are looking to move or buy.
As much as I would like to express what Ruth has been to us through this process, honestly, it will be an injustice. But know this, there is no way anyone else could have done what Ruth did. Honestly, I will not go to any other Realtor other than Ruth on our way back to Central Texas.

Ruth Powers of Realty Austin is a top notch real-estate agent. I have used her services for my first house, back in 2003, based upon a review of her by a close friend, and she did not fail to disappoint. I was a bachelor at the time, and we bachelors are typically done in 5 or 6 showings. Not me - I made it to 15 houses before deciding. She was behind me all the way, and even took me to a few houses she did NOT recommend I purchase, just to show me the difference of what makes a good vs house. I have recommended her to my friends ever since, and she has delighted them as much as me. Fast forward to now and why I am writing this review no longer a bachelor, and we needed to move. Ruth engaged with my wife and I and helped us navigate the (for us) uncharted waters of selling and buying at the same time. She did so with grace no doubt based on her years of experience, and fought hard for us to be able to close on both deals. We nearly lost our purchase 3 times due to adverse actions on the part of the seller, but she kept up the pressure. She worked with us to make our target numbers in both directions, and was exemplary in all areas. I really can't recommend her any more highly.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Ruth over the past 10+ years. She truly cares for her clients, understands their needs and looks out for the best for them. She is very knowledgeable and can always provide great advice. In selling our home with Ruth this November, she took the extra effort to come to the house and walk us though room by room how to best prepare the house. She brought in and helped set up her own staging items to make the home even more appealing. Ruth arranged excellent professional photographs of the home and amenities, which looked great in the listing and in the beautiful brochure. In negotiations, she looks out for your best interests and pays attention to the finer details like warranties and HOA transfer fees, etc, and tries to negotiate the most reasonable deal for her client. She is always quick to respond to texts, e-mails and calls and has gone over and above working on evenings, weekends and even on her vacation time if there is an urgent issue to deal with. We always felt like we were in good hands with Ruth as our agent!
Great experience overall. Ruth knows the market very well, provides great input on all aspects of the process and shows personal interest. Would definitely work with her again and would be willing to refer her.
Egla and I are extremely happy with all of the help and work that Ruth did on our behalf. These first two weeks have been pretty hectic dealing with the usual moving activities and details. Ruth definitely exceeded all of our expectations and even exhibited a level of patience that was amazing given that I was probably an extremely difficult and picky client.
