I worked with Bailey as a first time home buyer that was also relocating to the Austin area. Bailey made the experience as seamless as possible and was able to work across time zones to help me and my fiancee find the perfect home for us. From making time to meet early in the morning before I had an interview, to spending four days in a row going to numerous houses when we could fit in a trip to Austin right after Thanksgiving, to using FaceTime to allow us to do a "remote inspection" on the home we ended up purchasing, Bailey went the extra mile and it was greatly appreciated. My husband and I used Will Mackintosh for both selling our home when we moved out of state and then purchasing a new home when we decided to move back. We have had bad experiences in the past with realtors, however, Will helped restore our faith. He was personable, knowledgeable and went above and beyond so many times I lost count. Moving from out of state to Austin, my husband and I had little knowledge of Austin. Eric sold our house in Austin this year and was a very big help. The property had been a rental for a few years so he helped us get contractors in to change out the floors, paint the house, make the yard look nice, and fix a roof leak. Eric and his team worked really efficiently and were able to get everything done in about 3 weeks. He did a great job marketing the house and helped us negotiate a good deal on the house when the market was slowing down. Eric really cares about his clients and you can tell that he has a lot of experience. I would not hesitate to work with Eric again and I think that he's a great agent for anyone in the Austin area.
My boyfriend and I were first time home buyers, and new to the Austin area so we were a bit hesitant starting our home buying. We were set up with Tara and Andrew, and the experience was awesome! I really couldn't imagine us getting through the home buying so quickly and (relatively) stress free without them.
Both Tara and Andrew were very responsive and available whenever we had questions or wanted to check out a property. We super appreciated Tara's honesty when it came to home values. She steered us from an initial perspective house that we loved, but wasn't a great value and ultimately, we're sooo thankful that she did. Wow, wow, wow! Working with Ryan to find a new place to live was seamless. I did not feel rushed; he considered the things I wanted and needed in a house and prioritized my comfort and the right fit versus just finding something that would do. We were considering moving from San Francisco to Austin so we took a trip out to Austin to check out the neighborhoods. Before we went, we did a bunch of research to find a good real estate agent that could show us around. We ended up with Kasey Gilliam from Bramlett Residential and she was amazing! Kasey drove us around the neighborhoods for two days straight, showed us a bunch of properties, gave us an overview of the pros and cons of different neighborhoods in Austin, and also gave us her opinion on each of the properties we saw. I've worked with real estate agents that just go with you, open the door, and then don't give you any advice on the property. In my opinion that's not helpful at all, and Kasey certainly added a lot of value in our decision-making process! I would highly recommend Kasey to anyone who's considering buying in Austin.
We sold our first house earlier this year with Will Mackintosh as our realtor. Being newbies to house-selling, I have to say Will was so patient and a great help to me, answering all my incessant questions about processes, details, etc. even when I was texting him early on weekend mornings! In the end, with his help and the help of the stager/photographer he brought in, we sold our house of 20 years in 4 days flat, above asking! Two thumbs up - highly recommend. We just closed on our first house and we are grateful to have worked with the firm, specifically with Kasey Gilliam whose service was absolutely top-notch. My wife and I give her our absolute highest endorsement.
The overall transaction went very smoothly and Kasey was in full control throughout. My wife and I are first time home buyers, which comes with a lot of anxiety, yet Kasey kept us calm and confident. Kasey showed she was an excellent listener by showing us highly relevant properties at the beginning. We found one that was pre-market that we loved and Kasey crafted an excellent strategy that worked out perfectly.
There were four attributes in particular that stood out:
- analytical nature - Kasey mentioned she was previously a CPA and it showed. We absolutely loved how analytical she was which was incredibly effective for us, since we're of the same mindset. She did great navigating us through so much uncertainty carefully measuring expected risks & rewards.
- reliability - she always responded very quickly who was extremely knowledgeable and genuine (e.g. she was unafraid to say she didn't know instead of trying to fake it like I have encountered in the past). No calls or texts were ignored.
- reassuring - as first time home buyers she gave us a lot of good and salient information without overwhelming us. She always made sure we understood something before going further. She was calm throughout which gave us incredibly high confidence in her ability.
- outcome - most importantly, she delivered the outcome that we desired drove the process with few frictions making it much smoother than anticipated.
This is our first purchase so admittedly I don't have much basis for a comparison. But after reading numerous books and speaking with so many who went through this same process, it's clear Kasey provides a level of service that is among the very best.
Eric is the best Realtor in Austin! He is a really patient person because he has helped me look off and on for the past 3 years. I'm looking in different parts of central Austin and the market changes a lot and has changed a lot over time. Eric has sent over countless emails about price, condition, and neighborhood of every area I can think of because I've changed my mind so much. I can't thank him enough for sticking with me while I pick out my forever home. He has never pressured me or made me feel like I'm taking too long. We could not have asked for a better realtor than KASEY GILLIAM!! Kasey was incredibly proactive, knowledgeable, and highly responsive from beginning to end, even as our circumstances changed. We were only in town for a few days, making our house hunt incredibly time sensitive and to be honest, overwhelming. Tara McGuire helped us with the sale of our home in Austin, that just sold recently. I am very pleased with her work.
The sale was a very challenging one, solely because a co-owner of the property made it difficult. Despite this, Tara stayed by our side and worked with us to get the house in top shape and prepare everything necessary to sell our house at a reasonable price. She worked with us for months and never gave up. We ended up selling the house for a great price because of all the hard work and persistence that Tara provided.
She really knows her stuff - she was able to give accurate prices for what the house was worth based on its condition. She made on-point predictions about how the sale would go based on the house's properties. She also helped us determine exactly what needed to be done to increase the value of our home. Her husband Craig is also a fantastic contractor who helped us make ideal repairs on our home.

Vicki Duran was referred to me by a friend a mine who had previously used her services. Right from the first time I connected with Vicki, she has always been well-prepared, action-oriented and knowledgeable not only about the housing market but all the peripheral services as well. Vicki is extremely detail oriented and took every single one of my requirements very seriously. Because of my busy schedule, I was not able to go and see the property myself, but could trust her to close on the property remotely. She was able to close the property my choice in just 3 weeks, negotiated major fixes, connected me to a good mortgage company (I did my own research but this was the best), arranged for a painter, and provided reco for property mgmt services! I worked with Eric to sell my home in North Central Austin. This deal was especially challenging since the property had a difficult tenant and the whole deal was conducted remotely because I live out of state.
Eric, along with the staging service and photographer, managed to get my home listed quickly - despite the tenant's best efforts - and we received multiple offers (all over asking) within two days of being on the market. We closed on time, but not without a bit of real estate drama on the way.
The drama resulted from the handyman he had hired to patch an exterior hole in the siding (pesky squirrels), and much heartburn resulted from the buyers demand for a new roof.
Be wary of he offers handyman services, hire your own contractor.
The roof-replacement worked out in the end, but I had to file an insurance claim and provide concessions to cover the deductible. Be careful about the amendment verbiage, make sure you CYA so you don't have to sweat thinking about paying for a $17k roof out of pocket!
Overall, I am pleased with Eric's services. He will get you a good price, fight for you when the buyer makes outrageous repair demands and find a solution that works for you.
My husband and I worked with Will Mackintosh. From the first time I reached out through the closing process I couldn't have imagined it going any better or smoother. My husband and I were what I thought was a tricky situation. Due to work we were each coming from a different state and only had a full weekend to look at houses on both sides of town. I know Will is a busy man but he made us feel like we were his number one priority. Will has great resource to help you in special situation. In our transaction, after the inspection, we were surprised that the buyer claim there is a foundation issue and need a big cut in price. Will quickly connect a foundation engineering firm to verify the claim. Turns out the foundation was perfectly fine, no repair needed. Thankful for Will's fast response navigate the situation and communicate effectively with seller to save us. This is a key differentiator service between an ok realtor to a great realtor like Will.

My husband already moved out of state, so I cannot move the heavy stuff to our garage. Will emailed me saying- he will move the heavy stuff. Kasey Gilliam was AMAZING!! As a first home buyer I had little knowledge about the process or what it looked like (and was SUPER nervous) -- Kasey made this super easy and helped me understand everything that was happening along the way. Kasey clued me in on a ton of stuff that she didn't necessarily need to and I truly felt that she had my best interest in mind from start to finish. She answered every question I had right away and was super flexible and quick to get me in to see properties at times that worked with my schedule. She took the time to go over all the documentation with me to ensure I understood what I was signing and agreeing to, she showed up to every inspection and helped research some issues and reached out to her contacts so we could get an estimate of possible repairs. By the time this process was over I felt like an experienced home buyer due to her knowledge and everything she shared with me and made sure I knew.
