Big News! Director of Agent Success!
Feb 25, 2022
We're super, super excited to announce that we've hired the absolute best Director of Agent Success imaginable: Erin Szczerba!!!!
Erin is absolutely perfect for the role. Erin began her real estate career in 2002 in Denver. She transitioned to a marketing role at Dell in 2014. While at Dell, she trained enterprise sales teams to sell with specific marketing campaigns that were developed by her team. This combination of real estate and sales training experience is very unique and uniquely qualifies Erin. Beyond that, Erin's short but highly effective experience with and understanding of our systems gives me strong confidence that she's the perfect fit!
What is a Director of Agent Success? Think of Erin as your new sales coach, but a coach that cares about more than just the scoreboard (your sales.) Erin is going to help you follow processes and build habits that not only help you sell more, but that also help you operate more efficiently so that you have more time to do the things you love. If you have issues with work as it pertains to other things in life, please reach out to Erin just as you would reach out to Lauren and me (reach out to any of us) to chat about this.
What does this mean for everyone here? (Here goes Eric's old man story...) When Lauren and I started working together, I knew that we had organizational debt, but I didn't know how much until we'd worked together for a few weeks. We spent most of 2021 filling these organizational holes. It was a lot of work, but it was incredibly rewarding in both our company growth and in our effectiveness as a brokerage. In much the same way, I've known that we have habitual debt (I just made that term up) and I think that we'll probably have more than I know about. What is habitual debt? It's collective bad habits. We all know what we need to do to be effective, and we all really want to do those things, but we don't have anyone to help us. Erin will help us fix our bad habits. I'm super excited about this because I know that building great habits is a pain in the butt, but it's really not that hard when you have someone to help you. When everyone is on board with building amazing habits, and we build those habits, they then become part of our culture. At that point, we'll have seen advances just as incredible as we saw in 2021.
What changes in our day-to-day? You're going to hear from Erin more than you've ever heard from me. FUB allows us to comment to you guys and it allows you to comment back. You'll see Erin pop her head in when she sees you do something awesome and you'll see Erin ask questions when it looks like great habits weren't followed.
Our first effort will have to do with steps #1-3 in the LCQ (Lead Conversion Secret Sauce.) My favorite sauce is Queso, so the acronym is now LCQ since "SS" isn't the greatest abbreviation to ever use.
After we feel like we have a good handle on #1-3 of the LCQ, we're going to dive super deep into the FUB Daily Workflow (I don't have a great acronym for that yet, so please shoot me a separate message if you think of one.) In 2022, the FUB Daily Workflow will not be a "Wildly Important Goal" that we hope to meet, it's going to be a WIG that everyone accomplishes all the time! I'm sure that we'll discover more great habits to build as we dig in, and we'll certainly address those. Right now, we just know that we need to work on the LCQ in its entirety.
Questions are very normal, so please comment on Facebook at this link with any questions and also feel free to reach out to Lauren, Erin, Bailey, and/or me (really - any or all of us) with any questions!!!
